I'm sending emails that are not being received, but I'm also not getting any return emails. Any ideas? If I send an email using gmail, it works fine, so I'm guessing it's something on my end.

Any errors in your mail log?
How did you set up your mailserver? Did you use a HowtoForge guide? If so, which one (URL)?

No obvious errors in /var/log/mail.log. This is the info from the test email I sent: delay=1.9, delays=0.03 dsn=2.0.0, status=sent : removed
I set it up according to the perfect setup for ubuntu hardy heron...ispc 2.2.25.

Do you have a reverse DNS for your mail server setup by your ISP?

Yup. And, even if I didn't, I should get an error, right?

Nope. Messages will be sent without any errors and be killed by the recieving mail server without sending a message back. Although, not all mail servers kill emails from servers that don't have a reverse DNS.
