trying to restrict the mail queue for 5 times

When i am trying to send mails from postfix server, lots many mails to yahoo are deferred, so am trying to restrict the server to try the deferred queue for 5 times and after that 5 tries the queue should get deleted automatically.

I think there's a better way to overcome the Yahoo problem - just send one mail per second (not more) to Yahoo servers. This is working for us.

can you please tell how how is this possible

That depends on how you send mails (e.g. using a script, manually, etc.).
