Backup Manager Not Functioning

Hello,

I just noticed in ISPConfig when you go to:

Tools --> Backup Manager --> Backup -- Then Select Download under "Web Backup"

ISPConfig fails to backup your web data. It lets me download the backup_date.zip file each time which is only 211 bytes and is a corrupted zip file.

I just noticed this problem, Im running ispconfig 2.2.30 however the backups i created for Web Backups from 2.2.29 I dont believe worked either and possibly other earlier versions...I do remember having it working last time I checked before I noticed it was not working.

Any idea on how to fix this bug?

There is no bug in the backup function. The backup function is only for small sites, backups for larger sites have to be made on the shell.

I tried to backup just the SQL data on two small sites and I got the same 211 byte zip file and when i try to extract the archive i get the same error.

So I made a brand new web, uploaded a php form a few images, and that's it, tried to backup just the web data for that new web and got the same result and was unable to open the new zip.

Maybe I'll try again later today.

Do you know exactly what the size limit is for the backup feature? ..or possibly the name of the ispconfig developer who created it?

I created the backup feature and the size limit depends on the webbrowser you use and not ispconfig itself. A few 10 MB work fine wile a few hundred megabytes wont work as the browser times out then before the creation of the zip is finished.
