Ok, I had ispconfig running perfectly in a virtual machine for practice. So I built a real machine, and installed ubuntu and ispconfig. Well the installation seemed ok.

But it changed my dns server lookup externally:

Using the network-tools.com (http://network-tools.com) website under dns records.

when I do a query on asr-graphics.com here is the output:

Retrieving DNS records for asr-graphics.com...

DNS servers
192.168.1.100
Query for DNS records for asr-graphics.com failed: Timed out

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Before it said this:

Retrieving DNS records for asr-graphics.com...

DNS servers
ns1.asr-graphics[65.172.145.200]
ns2.asr-graphics[65.172.245.200]

What did I do? and how can I fix it?

And you created correct records in the ispconfig dns manager for this domain?
