postfix error 550

hi all,

i have configured local postfix server in fd5. we are able to send and receive mails locally but if i end mails to other domain ex user@xxx.com
getting bounce back with error 550.

kindly help to resolve this issue.

the local system is connected to internet but not having static ip from isp

a more clear message behind the 550 error, e.g. reciepient adress rejected etc.

As you are saying you do not have a static IP, it might be, that mailservers do not accept mails from dynamic hosts, either via detecting them due to a RBL or static list of dialin providers, e.g. to reduce SPAM.
