Groupoffice works local and not on internet

When running on my network ( with the IP ), everything is fine. When I try to access it thru the internet ( www.whatever.com/groupoffice ), I get to loggin then get " An error occurred on the webserver. Contact your system administrator and supply the detailed error. " This is after it says rendering interface, loading...

Has anyone else had this problem ?

permission problems for ip addresses out of LAN space?
firewall problem for a program/module that requests/responds to the rendering ?
