Change the line:

mailbox_size_limit = +

to e.g.:

mailbox_size_limit = 20000000

and then restart postfix:

/etx/init.d/postfix restart

Good morning,

There is nothing special in mail.log but if i wait the uebimiau's page refresh, i have :
It was not possible to send this e-mail
SMTP Error: Recipient not accepted. Verify your relay rules

any idea ?

Did you try to send to an internal or external email address. have you changed anything in the mail setings of your php.ini?

burtathis
20th March 2006, 10:05
I try to send to a mail account with another domain name and to another acount with the same domain : same result, same message.

No, i don't changed anything to php.ini

I follow my googleing...

Does the recipient address exist?
Does this also happen if you send to someone else?
Does it work with an email client like Thunderbird or Outlook?

burtathis
20th March 2006, 16:35
Hi Falco,

Yes, the recipient addresses exists : it's my office mail and my private mail.
I tested also another user in the same domain (otto@gastfall.org) but nothing.

In Thunderbird and Apple Mail, same thing : "can't connect smtp server gastfall.org"

Its look like my smtp server isn't well configured.

I can connect to gastfall.org.
Maybe a problem with the DNS servers your client PCs use?

burtathis

In fact, i can send mails with my smtp server but only inside my network.
It still not connect from outside and in webmail too.

My router works well with the nat for port 25.

I feel a little bit looser today...:cool:

Is gastfall.org really your smtp server? Because I can connect to it...

Ya ! it works !!!

I'm sorry to waist your time but at my office we have a weird network...

The last thing, uebimiau doesn't send my mails anywhere i try :
it insist with : "SMTP Error: Recipient not accepted. Verify your relay rules"...

PS : Your new howto with xen seems great!!!

Do you send to a domain that is on the server, or to an external domain?

burtathis
22nd March 2006, 18:52
both : i tried another domain in my server and a domain outside

falko
23rd March 2006, 01:40
And Uebimiau refuses to send to both?
Is there nothing in the mail log?

hi,

I think its solved !

In fact, i added this :
$smtp_server = "localhost";
in my /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/web/webmail/config.php

I don't know if i do good but it works now .

I was wondering if there is a website of uebimiau because i didn't found any ?
