Postfix hangs on telnet

When i try to telnet to port 25 it hangs after showing Escape character...
Followed the "Perfect server Fedora 10"

To get out of the session i have to do a "kill -9 PID"

EDIT: The session doesnt hang but no response on the commands and i cant get out

Any errors in your mail log?

I did a 'yum remove postfix' and then 'yum install postfix' and now its working, maybe something was wrong with the conf
