Hello,
i would like to use mod rewrite with the apache that comes with ispconfig. It seems that there is no mod rewrite for the web server of ispconfig per default. There is also no modules directory.
Is there any way to enable it?
Thanks!

No, you can not enable it as it is not available. You would have to compile a new apache binary.

Is this why all of the sudden my REWRITES stopped working? I've had issues for about a year with some scripts that rely on MOD REWRITE. I upgraded regularly to the latest ISPCONFIGs so maybe that's what happened?
How would we go about enabling this in APACHE?

Are you referring to the main Apache or ISPConfig's Apache (ISPConfig comes with its own Apache on port 81 that has nothing to do with the Apache that runs your sites)?
