Problems with proftpd and ispconfig

I have some problems understanding how the config files works.

I got the:

/etc/proftpd_ispconfig.conf
/root/ispconfig/isp/conf/customized_templates/proftpd_ispconfig.conf.master
/root/ispconfig/isp/conf/proftpd_ispconfig.conf.master


Which one should i edit to make changes? I end up changing all three back and forth before the config finally works as desired.

And which processes needs to be restarted after changes?

/etc/proftpd_ispconfig.conf is created from the template /root/ispconfig/isp/conf/proftpd_ispconfig.conf.master. If you have a customized template in /root/ispconfig/isp/conf/customized_templates, that one is used instead of /root/ispconfig/isp/conf/proftpd_ispconfig.conf.master. So you must modify /root/ispconfig/isp/conf/customized_templates/proftpd_ispconfig.conf.master.
