ISPconfig is really slow - done the host thing

I followed the howtoforge perfect server for ubuntu 8.10.

ISPconfig is really slow when I run it externally. I cannot test internal access.

the Server has a domain: test.name.com this has its ip 192.168.0.1
in the /etc/hosts file it says:

192.168.0.1 test.name.com test

Any ideas why ISPconfig is going so slow? I edited the config.inc.php file to have my hostname also.

What do you mean with "externally"? Did you test from outside your LAN, or from another computer in your LAN?

What are the outputs of ifconfig and route -nee on the ISPConfig system? Any errors in the error log in /root/ispconfig/httpd/logs?
