headers say different ip address from my email server

Hello...

When I look at the headers of my outgoing email it shows the default gateway for my network instead of my email server ip address..

Received: from mx.iradan.com ([71.39.25.110])
by mx.google.com with ESMTP id s27si12443142qbs.11.2009.01.24.14.21.47;


Has anyone seen this? Any ideas how I can fix this? The only place I can find the default gateway router address is in my route table..

I checked the ISPConfig setup on the website .. it looked good as well as all the DNS entries.

You can set the IP for outgoing emails with the following directive in main.cf:

smtp_bind_address = 123.123.123.123

I'm certain I'm doing something wrong here but I put the
smtp_bind_address = 001.234.567.890 in my main.cf reloaded postfix then restarted the server and neither time will postconf -d register the change. I get "smtp_bind_address = ". I'm trying to find a postfix book locally in a bookstore, but they must not be in demand.. buy while I shop, give up, and then go buy one from amazon do you have any ideas? I can't imagine it's reading a main.cf from anywhere other than /etc/postfix/ ?

out of maillog... it might look a little funny because I am using a webmail client to send email.. does the same thing with pop3 though. ... still nothing out of the normal that I can see?
