Default prefix for accounts

Can I use ISPconfig without having it auto assign the prefix for accounts? Currently when a new site is created you get something like web8_username. I want to be able to just give people a username of their choice without having to append a prefix. Thank you.

Yes. But it is definately not recommended to disable the prefix.

You can do this but you will get in trouble with your customers if you have more then one website on the server as usernames have to be unique for the whole server.

I understand that risk. But in my case I will be in control of all users and domains on the servers that ISPconfig is used on. Can you tell me how to do it?
