I installed this via the package and everything installed fine but when I try and send a newsletter using SMTP I get "could not authenticate you the smtp server..." I have searched can't find anything on it and I can't figure out what its not working. I can login via webmail with the username and password and it works in my email client as well. Any ideas?

Make sure that you use the username of the email account and not the email address as used for webmail.

Thanks for the reply. I am using the username and not full email address sorry for not clarifying. I am using domain_username which is how my ISPConfig is setup. I can setup any email client just fine and it works just not with the newsletter and I am at a loss. Is there any place I can check logging or anything else?

Take a look at the mail log in /var/log/ directory.

If you're using the same server to send the emails, you can use the sendmail binary instead of SMTP (if the application supports this). You don't need authentication then.
