When I get a newsletter, the style of it is changed to default, but in the forums I read that sanitizer, mailscan is causing this, so I can solve that issue.

I also get this "-->" on newsletters but also when someone replies on an email message. How do I find out what this means en how can I change this

Disable mailscan in the mailbox settings.
