Hello.
What is the purpose of having DefaultAddress 127.0.0.1 in ProFTPD? It sets default listeting address to localhost. What for?

For all FTP connactions that connect to localhost, for example for the webFTP Program in ISPConfig.

That is strange, but I was unable to connect to FTP with Windows Commander until I commented that line....

Are you using Fedora 9?

No, CentOS 5.2.
I just saw this: http://www.proftpd.de/DefaultAddress.372.0.html and thought, that there is no need to set any DefaultAddress to have server listening on all server IPs especially if it has many of them...

Not sure, but maybe chapter 19.2 from http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-fedora9-p6 applies to CentOS 5.2 as well.
