Hello to all!
I installed Debian Etch 4 with raid 1 following the steps of HOWTOFORGE, everything went well with the installation and the system is working perfect, but turn off or restart when he states:
md0 (/) failed busy
md1 (swap) failed busy
I installed the Ubuntu server with the same configuration and error does not appear.
How do I solve the problem with Debian?

When exactly do you see the message? Right before the system shuts down, or when it starts, or...?
Any errors in the logs?

Hello,
Sorry for my English,
I want to thank your response and quality of tutorials that you write, are very good.
With respect to my problem:
the message appears on reboot or shutdown, but it turns off completely ... see the links:

So when you tell the system to shut down, it shuts down, and when you tell it to reboot, it shuts down as well instead of restarting?

hello,
No, when I shutdown, it shuts down, when I reboot, restart ... it is working perfectly, but the message appears to failure (busy/failed) in raid (shutdown or restart).

In that case I wouldn't worry too much about the message.
