Hi all,

I am getting ready to setup an OpenSUSE11 server install.

I am hoping to convert my current Windows2003Server configuration into and iso image and run it off virtualbox within Osuse11 Server.

Can I do this?

What application do you think I will need on the Windows side to convert to iso?

Will virtualbox install on Opensuse11 Server install.

I am using the "Perfect Sever" install guide to assist me.

I am comfortable around a Windows Server, but new to a Linux setup.

Thanks

I haven't tried to install VirtualBox on SUSE, so I'm afraid I can't help. Also, I don't know if there's a tool fpr converting physical Windows machines to a virtual machine (for VMware, there's VMware Converter, but I don't know if such a tool exists for VirtualBox).

Thanks Falko,

Sounds like I will have to go with VMware instead.

Would there be a how-to on VMware onto Suse Server install?

Thanks

You can try this one: http://www.howtoforge.com/install-vmware-server-on-opensuse10.3
I think it works for OpenSUSE 11 as well.
