squid proxy server setup

i really don't know the setup of squid proxy canyou tell me step by step?
i using centos 5. thank you

squid will work out of the box with not much twicking all you need to do is create an acl for your lan and allow that to access the internet.

The config file is properly commented so u should not miss anything.
