Hey all,

Does anyone have any material on the configuration of Nagios www.nagios.com. the installations is as easy as pie, its just the actuall configuration of hosts etc thats quite tedious.

I think you should have a look at the Nagios documentation: http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/2_0/config.html

There are also some web interfaces for doing the configuration: http://www.nagios.org/faqs/viewfaq.php?faq_id=183&expand=false&showdesc=false
Maybe they can ease the task. :)

check this nagios installation from nagios source code and configuration (http://www.debianhelp.co.uk/nagios.htm)with examples this will definitely help you.

Debian configuration for Nagios is same like CentOS or other Linux... ?

May I know how to uninstall the Nagios and Apache?

How to install the Nagios without the apache2?

I have install apache but not apache2.....?

I cannot found the apache2.config file.....

any advise and hint?

I'm not sure if Debian's Nagios package requires Apache2...
