getting close - first site - bind9 install

fresh install of debian on webserver

installed bind9 it is runing, i think i have the basics configured for my first web site.. but i cannot get to it in browser, i must be missing something

dig @localhost firstsite.com seems to work says 1 server found with 13 or 14 lines of information...

i think maybe i have to somehow set ns1 and ns2 nameservers for this base domain for the web server?

what info is needed to help ?

Is your nameserver authoritative for the domain?
