View Full Version : how to partition and install ubuntu in free spcae after installed vista

Dear all,
I am having 120gb harddisk, i partitioned it as 30gb 30gb 30gb 30gb, in which im already having Vista in 1st partition and Xp in 2nd partition, i left my last 30gb as free space to install ubuntu,kindly tell me whether i have to select Primary or Secondary to proceed ubuntu install & how to partition my free 30gb space. I suggest you try Unetbootin: http://www.howtoforge.com/unetbootin_windows_ubuntu_fedora
It's very easy to use. :)
