How to install pound,heartbeat using VMware in ubuntu

i have three virtual matchines with ubuntu with their IPs. i need to install pound reverse proxy in first one. and heartbeat in other two nodes. and i need to install all this using vmware.Can any one help me by giving me steps for it?
