I have an existing FC5 x64 system up and running. I was told to ENABLE SOAP. (by a potential programmer)
Attached is my 'yum search soap' output. Can I just run 'yum install php-soap', restart apache and be done?
I also had this suggestion in addition to enabling SOAP.:
"If you want this done in Perl: Same options for MySQL and the following CPAN modules will need to be installed
XML::SImple
Data::Dumper
SOAP::Transport::HTTP
I prefer to code this in Perl because I have heard of PHP having limitations when integrating with XML and SOAP.
Is there a simple procedure to add these (CPAN?) modules?
Thanks,
Dave
