Hi everyone,
I am frustrated. A simple file transfer from a server to a laptop and vice versa always hangs and the network has to be restarted...it can't be this hard to move a file...!!
Both client and server use fedora core 6 and openssh is installed and updated..I can ssh from both machines...
Both rsync and sftp exhibit the same problem...
I can ping from both successfully with an MTU set to 1492 with the modem allowing 1500.
NFS is set up, and similarly a file transfer using the GUI causes the laptop to freeze completely and has to be rebooted!
PS. CUPS printing also freezes after 2 or 3 print jobs on server...sounds related??
Any help greatly appreciated
