I did find this. http://wiki.debian.org/FunambolInstallation But I was wondering if there was an application such as this that worked on Symbian phones, such as mine.

Tried this old Tutorial.
But with newer packages and the latest version of Funabol
aptitude install sun-java6-jdk tomcat6 mysql-server libmysql-java
Installed it on a ubuntu 8.10 machine with Tomcat 6 and mysql.
But when it comes to the guest login ... i had serveral errors in the log.
It seems it has something to do with the mysql-connector-java.jar.
A good tutorial would be very helpful! :)

Funambol, a leading provider of mobile 2.0 messaging software powered by open source, today announced it has released an open source native app for iPhone contact synchronization. The Funambol plug-in for iPhone synchronizes the iPhone's address book with contacts from popular sources such as Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, GNOME Evolution and SyncML servers such as the Funambol server.:D
Until now, contact synchronization on the iPhone was possible only using a cable connected to a computer running iTunes. The new Funambol plug-in is the first open source native app for iPhone address book synchronization.

Any open source software to create icons? I'd like to be able to create icons from high-quality jpg images. Is there an open-source solution for this?
