hi, im trying to install ispconfig 3 on a fedora 6 box. i see that in the requirements this is not possible. is there a way i could work around this?
im fairly new to ispconfig.
The current ISPConfig 3 installer is not able to detect and configure the fedora config files. In general, ISPConfig 3 should work on every linux distribution, but it has not been tested yet on fedora.

o i c ... is there anyway to hack it into submission or when will it be released for fedora?
The software has currently beta status. We plan to support all major linux distributions until we release it as final.
At the moment, I'am working on fixing the bugs that are listed in the bugtracker. Then I will have a look at the other linux distributions, in case that no other dev had enhanced the installer until then.
