Hi,

Recently, we have started getting the following messsage in the emails sent by the users of our firm

"MailScanner has detected a possible fraud attempt from "www.anotherdomain.com" claiming to be "www.mydomain.com".

this message appears in our signatures, where our website "www.mydomain.com " is mentioned.

and the subject line of our emails is tagged with "Disarmed"?

Any solutions?

that is because you have a link claiming to be x while the actually link points to b, that is how phishing works, fix that or turn off the mailscanner settings for that.

Thanks... i understand what you say. But i am a novice in MailScanner . so could you give me an idea where should i search for such a link? i mean, could it be in any of our email ids or ..... where????

Look at the email that has been disarmed you will see the offending link has been disabled.
