Client wants SSH access

Hey everyone,

I have a client that wants SSH access. Now I don't know what they would do with it, if it would be for installing stuff or editing files but what does everyone else do for this? Do you offer it to your clients? And if so, how do you keep a handle on it?

I never offer it to clients.
Some of them mention that they need SSH access just to extract files from archieves they send on the server but they can use php to do it as well or a web ftp client for example Web2FTP handles it just fine.
