Hello all.

i just installed a personal webserver following the "perfect server ubuntu 7.10 (http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_server_ubuntu7.10)" guide.

after that, I created an A record on my domain name to my ext IP address

On ISPconfig I created a reseller account, then a client, then a website (somedomain.com)
for that website, of couse also created an email account with 50mb space
after all, i have a 95% working server :) SIPconfig seems to work fine.
i can start a FTP session SSH, almost everything with that account , but cant log in to squirrellmail

after the squirrellmail log in screen i get this error
ERROR:
ERROR: IMAP server closed the connection.
Server responded:* BYE [ALERT] Fatal error: Maildir: No such file or directory

Now i know that the mail account must receive at least 1 email to be activated or created. i did that using my hotmail account but the message fail
also i get this inside the reply hotmail sent.
Reporting-MTA: dns;bay0-omc2-s25.bay0.hotmail.com
Received-From-MTA: dns;BAY125-DS2
Arrival-Date: Fri, 4 Apr 2008 12:54:33 -0700

Final-Recipient: rfc822;XXXX@hosteddomain.com
Action: failed
Status: 5.5.0
Diagnostic-Code: smtp;550 No Such User Here

any help would be appreciated
thanks :)

well, after a simple regeneration of ISPConfig's SSL (http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=121) and a server restart , the email service just start working.....
Now I can send and receive email

good.

96% so far :)

now, it comes to my attention that when i try to log in to the webmail
(roundcube, webmail, squirrelmail) from a website (lets say https://hosteddomain1.com:81/roundcubemail) it redirect me to my server domain (https://myserver1.com:81/roundcubemail)

i know that i dont have any app such webmail installed under domain.com/webmail

so, is this suposed to work like that?
or is there a way to fix that?
