I've been looking around on the forums to find how to use ISPconfig. I've installed ISPconfig and created a client and a website for the client, but i don't know how to access the created website, and how the potential cliend can put his files on my server.

Is there some documentation on the basics of using ISPconfig? How or where can i start to learn ISPconfig?

Have you tried the Manuals, they can be found in the ispconfig control panel under help.

Make sure that the DNs records for the domain are pointing to your server. Then all you need to do is type in the URL in a browser.

Enable FTP for the web site and then create an admin user on the User & Email tab. This user will then be able to log in using an FTP client (such as FileZilla). As the hostname, you can type in any domain or FQDN or IP address that is pointing to your server.

What I meant was i don't know how to copy over the html files of a site, aside from using WinSCP or some other program for copying files that i was using prior to using ISPconfig. My question is: if i creaste a website, how will the owner of the website be able to copy his files?
