If I don't use ISPConfig for DNS or for mail (I use my hosts dns setup capabilities and I have all domains MX'ed to gmail) can I safely uninstall bind9 and Postfix With SMTP-AUTH And TLS without any problems or will this mess anything up?

If you don't want to use ISPConfig, you can remove them, otherwise not because then the ISPConfig installation will fail.

ISP Config is already installed and working fine. I just wanted to know i f I could remove them now that it's installed. They are wasting a fair amount of memory on my server.

If you remove them, you won't be able to update ISPConfig...

So if I wanted to I could uninstall them and ISPConfig would work fine, and then when theres an update, I could just reinstall them to do the update?
