Hi

I have installed ispconfig on ubuntu. I used a standard install as per the howtoforge install and all worked fine. I can even login to the admin site, create resellers, clients, sites, etc. My goal is to run a local server to test some php and ruby scripts and see if they work.

My problem is I cant seem to get the sites working. I added the ip and website address to the hosts file in windows as well, but still no luck. I keep getting this erro no matter the site name, etc:

Object not found!

I can find any posts, on google and howtoforge> Can anyone help me so I can view them. Maybe I am not creating things right. The only diffirence is that I am not using the ispconfig firewall. But, I did open port 81 and it seems to work for the backend. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for any reply

Did you also open port 80?
What's the output of ifconfig and what's in your Vhosts_ispconfig.conf?

The Vhosts_ispconfig.conf in /etc/apache22/vhosts is totally blank. Port 80 is open for udp and tcp.

Any help would be appreciated.
