Hi! I wanted to know if I can follow this tutorial (http://howtoforge.com/high_availability_nfs_drbd_heartbeat) but with a VPS. Basically, the architecture of my machines are the following:

1. LAMP1 + DNS - Mail
2. LAMPn + DNS - Mail
3. NFS VPS1
--VM1
--VM2
--VM3
4. NFS VPSn
--VM1
--VMn
5. Mail1
6. Mailn

I currently have 1 LAMP server. I am planning on building 1 NFS VPS and 1 Mail server for the moment until i get more machines. But I do plan on putting more machines. For the LAMP, I followed this tutorial (http://howtoforge.com/perfect_server_ubuntu7.10), and did not install ISPConfig, Mail server, nor Quota.

My questions are 1) how can I follow the NFS tutorial above, except with a few VM's within the machine, and 2) should I install Quota on the LAMP server or the NFS VPS?

Thank you,
Kevin.

I already figured these questions out when someone had explained to me more in depth how VM's work.. But i still need help figuring out if the root user of the VPS, not the main OS, can either increase or decrease the size of its own virtual partition?

Thank you,
Kevin.

No, that doesn't work.

Ok, so I don't have to install Quota then, right?

Thank you,
Kevin.
