I`ve used thehowtoforge centos 4.6 perfect setup script, everything is going aok, but I tested with vbulletin the sendmail feature, to check that emails work, but in gmail for example, the headers show :
Received: (from nobody@localhost)
by localhost.domain (8.13.1/8.13.1/Submit) id m2EMAlHH004139;
How can I make my own details show up there ?

I think this is a problem with VBulletin Global configuration and also with sendmail.cf file. If you can post the latter's last 20 lines, I might give you a hint.

ok
for the localhost.domain
is the PC name
try editing the /etc/hosts file
and puting in something else for the localhost.domain
for the nobody@localhost
check the vBulletin Options -> site name / URL / contact details
or it maybe under the email options
