I have installed Open SuSE 10.0 and ISPConfig with howtoforge article. All works fine, except ftp logs... I see 0.00MB in traffic statistics. Anyone can give me some directions please?
My Proftpd log is saved in /var/log/proftpd.log
Thanks in advance,
IWI

Change the path for your ftp logfile in ISPConfig under Management > Server > settings to /var/log/proftpd.log

Thanks a lot, but I don't have any textbox to set where is proftpd.log. I have gone to Managament -> Server -> Settings -> FTP
I only have:
FTP Program set to Proftpd
FTP conf. file set to /etc/proftpd.conf
Save Log: Checkbox set to true.
Where can I put where is proftpd.log?
Maybe I can put it manually in some files o DDBB?
Thanks in advance,
IWI

Please have a look at the isp_server table in the ISPConfig database. But please change only the Proftpd log file, nothing else! This table is critical for ISPConfig!

Thanks a lot Falko
I have changed this value in isp_server table.
After I have executed:
/root/ispconfig/php/php root/ispconfig/scripts/shell/ftp_logs.php and /var/log/proftpd.log.ispconfig has created but nothing change. I view 0.00 in FTP traffic.
I have checked this log file, and only logins and logouts are logged. Do you know howto change proftpd log level to log bytes recieved and transmited?
Thanks in advance,
IWI

I solved this problem Falko.
I added TransferLog directive in proftpd.conf
Now all works fine.
Thank you Falko.
P.D.: I am translating ISPConfig to right Spanish and Catalan. When I finish this translation I will send you.
