no network build kernel

how to build a linux 2.6 kernel under ubuntu :mad: WHIT NO NETWORK! :mad: ?
i hope you all can help me?

What do u mean no network ? Do u have access to download the source ? Or do you want to build the kernel without networking components in it ?

yes i eint got on network. so i cant download anyting. but i can download in anoter place. whitc packge schall i use??? and, how to get them?

Question is why do u want to build another kernel ubuntu already comes with a 2.6.x kernel and its usually quite update when compared with Centos/Rhel kernels that are months behind.
