New at this. Trying to install Debian 3.1rl for AMD 64 on a newly built computer. 2 new WD Raptors ,Asus P5n32sli deluxe motherboard, 1gb memory,
Sony CD-Rom, Bios set up correctly with a striping raid. Get message at boot :EMM386 Warning Address line A20 already enabled Frame= D800 KB= No keyboard function at this point. I guess i could use a little help.

At the boot prompt you have the possibility to change the boot mode (e.g. linux26, expert26, etc.). You can also view the list of all boot options. Maybe there's something like a failure safe boot mode? Try it.

Have a look at your Bios, you can try to change some keyboard related settings like the "Enable num at boot" option.
