View Full Version : Problem installing debian etch /scripts/init-premount

Hello everyone, im trying to install for third time a Debian etch 4, everything looks fine during the install but at the first boot, always hang with the message:

Begin: Running /scripts/init-premount

so i cant into the SO

Any tip will be very helpfully

Might be a problem with your hardware - maybe it's too new, and Debian doesn't have the right drivers for it. You could try to install Ubuntu instead - it's based on Debian, but has newer drivers.

Yeap i think that too... are there many differents things between debian and ubuntu or are very similars ??
