Web service error help

About 4 months ago I installed the SUSE 10 Perfect Setup. Everything works well for awhile but more and more frequently the web service seems to quit. I can still log in by SSH. Can anyone please tell me where to start troubleshooting this issue? ie: which logs I should be looking at that might tell me why this is happening?

The Apache logs are normally in /var/log/apache or /var/log/httpd.
