clamscan - Urgent!!

/home/admispconfig/ispconfig/tools/clamav/bin/clamscan --no-summary --stdout -

Clamscan keeps spawning and using all the resources on the server.
This started last night and I have had to reboot the server a couple of times allready.

I know I have older version of ISPConfig installed (with older version of clam) and should upgrade, but is there a trick that could give me a few hours to survive this day?

I took out the "Spamfilter:" tab on the ISPConfig and removed the spamfiltering on the accounts heviest affected. The clam seems to crash apache service.
