Hi falko,
one of the nice person i found over the support forums.
Nice to meet you, you really have the patience in solving problems and by reading your replies i found that you dont mind qestions even simplest.
i am running ubuntu 7.10 with ispconfig, just setup squirrelmail as a client to send recieve e-mail.
whenever i send e-mail its not showing the real domain name address
like if i login in squirrelmail using email id crush@domain1.com
and sending e-mail to some yahoo id.
it is recieved in bulk and the address of sender there is crush@example.com instead of domain which i used to login.
second do i need to setup dns to recieve emails?
Thanks
Is

You need to go into squirrelmail config directory then run perl conf.pl it is pretty much self explanatory from then on.

If someone else is managing your DNS records (e.g. your domain registrar), then you don't have to run your own name servers, but set up the correct records in your domain registrar's web interface.
