View Full Version : How to host my own DNS server?

I have two static public IPs in different locations from the same service provider (one belong to my friend and one myself). How can I design a DNS server (BIND9) so that I can point the nameservers. I intend to use the same IPs to host other web services, too.

Is that something realistic? If yes, how can I accomplish that?

Looking forward to hearing inputs. Thanks
