I would like to use custom mailbox quota in Ispconfig. If I uncheck Maildir in Ispconfig server settings, then mail system doesnt work. What should I do? Otherwise, Ispconfig works perfectly. Thanks!

It is recommended to use maildir, as it is more stable then mbox. You have email quota with maildir too, but it is always identical with the web quota, thats why the mailquota field is not displayed.

If you really want to use mbox, then you will have to install mbox capable pop3 and imap daemons on your system.

IF I would decide to use different daemon, which one would you suggest? I would like to control mailbox quota from Ispconfig panel.

Edit:
on the second thought, is it possible to manualy set quota on folder /var/www/www.domain.tld/user/Username ? If so, how?

Ipop3d uses mbox, for example.
