ISPConfig under VM

Can I install ISPConfig to manage 1500 email accounts under Virtual Machine and cluster following this tutorial?

I want to run ISPConfig on HA Cluster.

It should work as long as the VM behaves like a normal "single" webserver, but I never tested it.
