Certificate questions

I can create a certificate for www.mydomain.com fine

I want to use the same certificate for www.mysite.com

If I type https://www.mysite.com it goes to the homepage of www.mydomain.com which is my basic web and not to mysite.com

Is there anyway around this?

You need a dedicated IP address for every website. Assign a new IP address to www.mysite.com and then create a new SSL certificate for www.mysite.com.
