Is there anything i should consider if i would like to use HORDE as webmail client?

If you have imap installed on your server, you can use horde as
webmail client. We use uebimiau as webmail client by default because
it supports POP3 and IMAP.

I think it's possible to create an optionnal add-on for that no ?
