You can set up your mail server as shown here: http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_ubuntu_6.06_p5
If you want to create email accounts on the shell, also take a look here: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2

ok I did the above install-a question on the install it says to chose Internet as oppose to system or local users. Do I need to go back and rerun the setup config to change anything, since I am not using virtual users. Another question about http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2-do I use the these same commands for local/system users since it seems to be for virutal users?
As always Thanks for your help

If you've chosen something else, please run dpkg-reconfigure postfix Another question about http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2-do I use the these same commands for local/system users since it seems to be for virutal users?
