Mandrake 10.0 Power pack gets to this stage and stalls out. Any idea why?
I also am installing on a Trustix system and have not had this problem on it.
See attachment of screen pic. could not get the text to paste in here.

I've never seen this behaviour before...
BTW, I'm going to publish a Mandriva 2006 tutorial in the next few days, maybe it's interesting for you.:)

Question i have gotten to the first question to select the language type. i select #2 en and hit enter then i get this message
With the system installation, some system files are replaced where ajusted were made. This can lead to loss of entries in the httpd.conf, named.conf as well as in the sendmail configuration.
do you want to continue with the installation? [y/n]
i selected y and the it took me to [root@localhost install_ispconfig]#
has anyone had this happen and what can i do to correct this thanks

Networking must be enabled for MySQL, i.e. you should see a MySQL entry when you run netstat -tap
How you do this for Mandriva is described here: http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_mandriva_2006_p5
