DNS authentication?

Hi,

I was curious if there is anything out there that would allow me to configure DNS so that it would only do DNS resolution for devices with known MAC addresses.


Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might do that?
Is there some sort of challenge/response that happens when DNS queries are made that I could make use of?

In named.conf you can setup acl's (Access control lists) there you can set which ips can use use your dns server
